Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer, Tempur Sealy International
Stuart Scott joined Tempur-Pedic International in October 2009 as the chief information officer, leading the organization’s IT globally. With the acquisition of Sealy and the creation of the combined Tempur Sealy International, Scott was promoted into his current role. Prior to Tempur-Pedic, he served as chief operating officer of Taylor, Bean & Whitaker Mortgage Corporation (TBW), leading six P&Ls with a combined $83 billion under management. He was also previously chief information officer of Microsoft Corporation and served as its corporate vice president and enterprise risk management leader; chief information officer of GE Healthcare Ltd, where he was responsible for leading the information management teams as they integrated bio-sciences and technologies’ infrastructure, systems and processes; and vice president and chief information officer for GE Industrial Systems. His CIO and IT management experience includes sales, distribution, marketing, product management, customer service and engineering. He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering mathematics and computer science from the University of Louisville, as well as a MBA from Vanderbilt University.
