Managing Director –Consumer Markets, KPMG
Bob Glowniak joined KPMG in 2015 as a managing director in the Chicago office and is responsible for the firm’s consumer markets practice in the U.S. He provides M&A advisory and capital structure advisory services to public and private companies in the consumer markets space. Areas of focus include food and beverage, health and wellness, household and consumer products, pet products and retail. He has more than 20 years of experience as an investment banker, particularly in mergers & acquisitions, equity offerings, fixed income, high yield bonds and leveraged loans. Clients have included Fortune 500 publicly traded companies, private companies and private equity funds. Prior to joining KPMG, he was a principal with J.H. Chapman Group, a boutique advisory firm focused on the food and consumer products industries. Prior to J.H. Chapman, Glowniak founded a boutique investment banking firm focused on privately held companies, primarily in the Midwest. His investment banking experience includes roles as a managing director in J.P. Morgan’s Mid-Corporate investment banking group, director at Citigroup Global Markets and vice president at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He began his investment banking career as an associate at Bankers Trust Company (now Deutsche Bank). In addition to consumer markets, his experience includes industrial manufacturing, automotive, transportation and business services.
