Seeing an opportunity to bring world-class beef to Lexington, Bruce Drake and Brian McCarty opened Malone’s steakhouse in 1998. Today their Bluegrass Hospitality Group serves their signature, over-the-top hospitality at six original concepts: Malone’s Prime Beef steakhouse, Sal’s Chophouse, Harry’s Bar and Grill, Aqua Sushi, Drake’s and OBC Kitchen, as well as a Malone’s banquet facility. Their portfolio also includes a Texas Roadhouse franchise. Prior to establishing the Bluegrass Hospitality Group, Drake managed L&N Seafood Restaurants nationwide. He has a hospitality management degree from Western Kentucky University.
