Vice President, Enterprise Supply Chain, Buffalo Wild Wings
As vice president, enterprise supply chain at Buffalo Wild Wings, Brian Coan leads the chicken wings restaurant franchise’s supply chain team that is responsible for sourcing and procurement of products and services, inventory management and distribution for more than 1,000 locations in North America. He is also responsible for developing and executing overall supply chain strategy and capabilities to help drive growth domestically and internationally. Prior to joining Buffalo Wild Wings in 2014, Coan was at Chick-fil-A, Inc. in the supply chain group where he oversaw strategy development, multimillion-dollar cost savings strategies and supplier relationship management. Before Chick-fil-A, Coan spent 12 years in the poultry industry holding management positions with Cagle’s, Columbia Farms and Gold Kist. He has been involved in several related industry associations, including the National Council of Chain Restaurants (Supply Chain Committee), National Chicken Council (Marketing and Communications Committees) and the National Restaurant Association (Supply Chain Executive Study Group) and is a frequent speaker at poultry industry events. Coan received undergraduate degrees from Young Harris College and the University of South Carolina, and a master’s degree from the University of Georgia.
